My Family Will Be Taken Care Of

My wife and I have been separated for almost three months now, and just recently my son came to live with me full-time. It’s great having him around all the time, but I can tell the fact his mom and I aren’t living together anymore is taking a toll on him. I try to be there for him as much as I can, whether it’s playing catch, shooting hoops, or helping out with his homework. My wife and I have been married for 11 years and I guess I have taken some things for granted, because it isn’t easy raising a child and working full-time. Since the day Tyler was born I promised him and myself that I would never let anything bad happen to him as long as I was around, and now that our world has been shook up I am starting to think about the future. I have excellent benefits at work and haven’t needed to adjust them at all, but during my drive home last week I started thinking about what would happen to my wife and Tyler if I was injured or even worse. Although my wife and I are having hard times, I still love her and would never want to leave her and Tyler in a jam. So after I put Tyler to bed that night I went on the internet and looked up some options on life insurance. My company offered us a decent policy, but it wasn’t anything eye-popping so I didn’t take it. I never looked into the ins-and-outs of life insurance, so I had a lot of questions. Luckily I found this website with a directory containing dozens of articles dealing with life insurance, and all my questions were answered. I then went back to the homepage and filled out their form, and in no time I had multiple quotes from top agencies around the country. I finally settled on an amazing plan I didn’t think was possible, and it feels great to know that Tyler and my wife will be taken care if something happens to me.

Being Prepared

My girlfriend and I were watching the news the other night, and a rich old man passed away leaving his family with millions upon millions of dollars. I leaned over and said, “Wow, that must be nice. I wish I had a rich grandpa.” She agreed but became quiet as the minutes passed on. I noticed she became increasingly distant from the newscast, which is unusual because we love to discuss worldly matters and compare opinions on a wide variety of topics. “Are you all right”, I asked as I put my hand on her shoulder. She looked over to me and said, “What would happen if we had children and one of us passed away? You always hear about the happy stories, but what if a parent passes away during a child’s developing years and leaves their spouse with a heavy financial burden?” That really struck a chord with me, for I never put much thought to how much a sudden death would impact a family’s finances. We changed the subject shortly after, but the next day I did some research and found out that I can not only afford life insurance but I can develop my own plan to fit my individual needs. I showed the website to my girlfriend and she couldn’t believe the affordability or the options either, so we each filled out the easy form at the top of the page and received our free quote.
